Job Description Summary role description: Hiring for a Head of IT for a leading automotive components manufacturer. Role details: Title / Designation: Head of IT Location: Chennai , India Reporting to : CEO Role & responsibilities: Define and execute the IT strategy aligned with the organization’s overall business objectives. Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics. Oversee the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of SAP S/4 HANA systems. Manage and optimize IT infrastructure to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance operations. Strengthen cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard digital assets and minimize risks. Establish and maintain effective Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) mechanisms. Ensure compliance with IT governance, regulatory requirements, and data protection standards. Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional IT teams to build internal capability and foster innovation. Collaborate with C-level executives and Board members to present IT strategies, roadmaps, and risk assessments. Engage with key business stakeholders to drive technology-enabled process improvements and innovation. Candidate requirements: Minimum 20 years of experience in the Manufacturing sector, IT Consulting in Manufacturing sector(Preferably from the Automobile or Auto Components industry). B.E / B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science Proven experience in formulating and executing IT strategies aligned with business goals Strong background in digital transformation, including AI, automation, and advanced analytics In-depth experience with SAP S/4 HANA – implementation, integration, and optimization Skilled in managing enterprise IT infrastructure for scalability, performance, and security Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and risk mitigation strategies Familiarity with Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks Strong leadership skills to build and lead high-performing IT teams Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive innovation Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with C-level executives and Board members Recruiter Details: Swetha Suresh – Check Your Resume for Match Upload your resume and our tool will compare it to the requirements for this job like recruiters do.
