Conviva is looking for a Sr. Test Engineer for the Implementation Services team. The engineer will be responsible for validating the integration of Conviva SDKs into customers’ applications by executing various test scenarios and comparing the user experience on screen to the events reported by the application, and the metrics computed by Conviva’s analytics platform.  What Success Will Look Like:  Perform extensive manual testing of OTT applications across various platforms like Web, Mobiles, Smart TVs, Gaming Consoles, and Set-top Boxes Use in-house tools to verify the accuracy of events reported by the video player and correlate them to the user experience on screen Use third-party tools like Wireshark and Charles proxy to manipulate and analyze network request and responses Analyze responses from Ad servers like Google IMA and Freewheel to test ad playback scenarios Verify the accuracy of metrics calculated by Conviva’s platform based on the events received from the video player Debug, perform root cause analysis and create detailed customer facing test reports describing the issues found and proposed fixes Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Support, and Field) and customers to drive resolution of issues Contribute to improving our existing test cases and test documentation What will make you successful in this role: Highly organized and detail oriented Excellent oral and written communication skills  Passionate about product quality Strong sense of ownership and accountability  Who You Are & What You've Done: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 6-8 years of experience in a Quality Assurance/ Quality Engineering role. Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, methods and processes Experience testing applications on at least two platform (iOS, Android, Web, SmartTVs, Gaming consoles, Set-top Box, etc) Experience using network proxy tools like Wireshark, Charles proxy, or Fiddler proxy for analyzing HTTP request and responses Ability to read and analyze device/system logs (Logcat, Xcode, etc) Bonus points for knowledge of OTT video delivery process, video formats or prior video streaming testing experience To learn more about how Conviva can help improve the performanceand outcomesof your digital services, visit
