Role Overview: YASH Technologies is seeking to hire Selenium with Java Professionals in Bangalore, KA, IN. As a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5+ years of experience, you will be responsible for defining the overall test strategy for assigned features, estimating testing effort, prioritizing projects, planning implementations, and helping rollout changes. You will also define automation strategy, write high-quality code to automate testing, and develop a deep understanding of the product and engineering processes. Key Responsibilities: - Define overall test strategy for assigned features - Estimate testing effort, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and help rollout changes - Define automation strategy and ensure testability - Write high-quality code to automate testing for assigned feature areas - Develop a deep understanding of the product, engineering processes, tools, and concepts - Participate in test design and test systems architecture discussions - Document defects effectively and work with the Development team to triage and troubleshoot defects - Coordinate testing across multiple teams - Identify project risks, dependencies, and provide alternatives yielding reduced risk Qualifications Required: - Very good understanding of eCommerce product development and quality engineering processes - 5+ years of software development and/or quality engineering experience - Proven work experience in software development, quality assurance, and test automation - Experience in Rest APIs preferred - Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, and Karate - Experience in implementing test script optimization techniques - Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM),
