Hiring a Product Manager for a leading building materials manufacturer for their office based in Ahmedabad
KRA's: Marketing Collaterals; Competition Tracking & MIS
a) Develop and manage all category communication and design tools (including product training programs, corporate presentations etc.) to effectively support business development and sales.
b) Study competition (pricing, schemes & promos, launches etc.)
c) Provide inputs and direction to the senior management on way forward/ planning.
d) Analyze sales data monthly as per AOP
e) Take corrective actions and give feedback to the respective sales team.
Product Planning -
a) Understanding the products lines, verticals and markets
b) Setting key objectives in line with business expansion plan and aligning with the product road map.
c) Prepare NPD calendar and product roadmap for each category.
d) Product Rationalization.
New Product Development -
a) Identify new market/product opportunities for business gains based on systematic market research.
b) Develop Product pricing/profitability.
c) New product development and management of timely launches across India.
d) Monitoring SKU's performance for launch effectiveness
e) NPD/Customization for Key Accounts.
Product Pricing -
a) Price positioning in comparison with product category and competition.
b) Analyze product margins at regular intervals and take corrective action whenever necessary.
c) Price customization for Key Accounts
Inventory Management -
a) Management of slow-moving stocks/discontinued stocks to ensure a healthy inventory
