Job Title: System Administrator Salary: up to £26k (depending on experience) Location: North East Reference: J2490 Contact: Telephone: 0141 647 6688 Categories: , , , Our client is a fast growing provider of bespoke electoral services. They are currently seeking an efficient System Administrator to manage the online nominations and e-voting site build for all UK customers; manage the internal communication for all elections; and act as technical point of contact for customers in relation to online election support. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of standard IT Software packages, and experience working with proprietary software programmes. A knowledge of HTML and Java Script is also desired. Good, clear written and verbal communication skills are an essential, with an ability to liaise with both business customers as well as the public. Knowledge of email marketing software solutions are a must as you will also be expected to build and send bulk email campaigns for customers, and monitor and report on mailings. Confidence to work with and ability to learn more about Mailchimp and Campaign Monitor email packages is an essential. Previous experience of using Microsoft Excel and data files will be necessary to be able to manipulate data as required by the various systems to ensure elections take place accurately and to the relevant election rules. Having a team mentality is also key, as you will be required to sit on the NPD team and help to research, develop and bring on board new online products into the company’s product portfolio – with particular relevance to online voting and marketing solutions.
