- Good hands on experience in Red hat Enterprise LinuxV5/6/7 System administration and trouble shooting.
- Hands on expert in Linux services such DNS, DHCP, NFS/AutoFS, NIS, Samba, NTP, Apache/Tomcat, Mysql, Sendmail, FTP/SFTP, Samba, RPM, Yum
- LDAP administration.
- RAID administration
- LVM and EXT4 file system Management
- Hands on experience in Veritas NetBackup 6 and above
- XEN/KVM Administration and troubleshootinga
- Strong Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl, Bash, Python) etc
- Strong concepts of TCP/IP networking
- Good knowledge in Firewall configurations (Cisco ASA, Fortigate, Sonicwall)
- Design, configure & manage multiple physical networks and routing using L3 switches, L2 switches & Routers
- Strong understanding of current network protocols, architecture, and design
- Strong knowledge in IPSec VPN Tunnel
- Experience on Jumpstart installation/Trouble shooting
- To carry out the scheduled activities like Patch management, Log file rotation.
- Analysis of server performance and fine tuning
- Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems
- Plan/Schedule/co-ordinate and implement critical changes
- Manage backup process and perform data recoveries as needed.
- Hands on experience in Point to point, ILL and PRI links procurement and management
- Monitor and respond to service tickets on a daily basis
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and team work
- Customer service attitude and ability to work well with others in the corporate office
- Excellent verbal communication, documentation, and presentation skills
