You may know us as Niva Bupa in India, but globally Bupa has over 80,000 employees, 50m customers and an ambition to reach 100m customers by 2027.Job DescriptionDesigns test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.Participates in requirement, design and specification reviews, and uses this information to design test plans and test conditions.Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing. Automates testing tasks and builds test coverage through existing or new infrastructure.Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks.The Successful ApplicantA background in software analysis or software development or IS project from relevant business area is necessary.ISTQB Software Testing Foundation or Intermediate CertificationTotal years of experience should be 1-5 yearsGood understanding of Cloud technology (Google and Azure), Microsoft CRM, Window and UNIX server, Web & App platforms.Person must have an excellent problem-solving approach, be a self-starter, good communicator, good collaboration skills and team player, business oriented and must have skills in producing documentationUnderstanding of Non-Functional testing like Performance testing, Accessibility Testing, Visual TestingThe ability to demonstrate:Consistent delivery of testing on time and to budgetProblem solving and Risk managementChange managementQuality custodian in software development life cycleGood Quality Engineering skills covering Functional, API, Automation and non-functional testingUnderstanding of Project development lifecycle (s) SDLC, ADLC, IDLC
