**Functional/Regression Tester

**Test Engineer - 2+ years of experience**

**Responsibilities**
- You will implement and coordinate a thorough test process in an emerging team.
- You take the lead in functional testing, Regression Testing, maintaining and writing new tests and coaching your colleagues on testing practices. On a daily basis, you ll be creating test scenarios, testing new functionalities, optimizing the speed of tests and following up on issues found. Furthermore, you’ll check whether the functionalities that have been built, match the requirements.
- You will interact with stakeholders, development team to decide on Go/No Go to production.
- Responsible for supporting SIT,UAT, post prod testing
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities.
- Perform thorough testing when bugs are resolved and features are completed.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to test the Restful API with either postman or restassured.
- Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans. Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities.
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments.
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking. Ability to organize and analyze data and present metrics to internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for converting manual functional test scenarios to automated test scripts by coordinating with the team.
- Experience with QA methodologies.
- Working with Agile and devops methodologies.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ yrs of IT experience, in the software testing area.
- Ability to think of test ideas, various conditions and states of the functionalities and how to break.
- API Testing for Restfull API
- Ability to track requirements to completions as per design and test case.
- Responsible for building and managing effective relationships with IT and Business Stakeholders, through the testing phases of a Project, to ensure adequate testing is done across various stages.
- Excellent analysis skills required in investigating and troubleshooting issues and queries raised with a proven ability to clearly and concisely communicate resolution and next steps for complex issues to multiple stakeholder groups.
- Hands on experience in manual testing in SIT, UAT,post production release and well versed with SDLC, STLC concepts.
- Knowledge of Test and defect management tools like ALM.
- Strong in technical domain and attitude towards helping to resolve the roadblocks for the team.
- Knowledge of automation, CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Hands on tester ready to transform the current tools, technologies and evolve with the vision of organization.
