Job description Key Responsibilities ;   Shipment Coordination and Execution: Plan, organize, and manage air export shipments to ensure timely delivery.  Coordinate with shippers, consignees, and carriers for booking arrangements, pick-ups, and deliveries.  Handle and prepare required export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.  Customs and Compliance:   Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and documentation requirements.  Coordinate with customs brokers and regulatory bodies to ensure shipments meet all import/export regulations. File and verify the accuracy of documents required for customs clearance.  Customer Service and Communication:   Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding their shipments, providing updates and handling inquiries.  Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client needs and expectations are met or exceeded.  Resolve any shipment issues or delays and communicate effectively with all parties involved.  Carrier and Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, ground handlers, and other vendors.  Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.  Monitor carrier performance to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.  Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all export shipments and documentation.  Ensure proper filing and storage of documents for easy retrieval and compliance audits.  Prepare and submit necessary reports on shipment status, costs, and performance metrics.  Cost Control and Efficiency:   Monitor and manage costs associated with air export operations to optimize profitability.  Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and reduce expenses.  Problem-Solving and Risk Management:  Identify and address potential issues or risks in the shipment process, such as delays or customs issues. Develop contingency plans to address disruptions in the supply chain
