Job Description Role: Senior Associate / Principal Associate – General Corporate Location: Mumbai Responsibilities: Lead and execute general corporate, M&A, PE/VC, joint ventures and strategic investment transactions. Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents including SPAs, SSAs, shareholders’ agreements, business transfer agreements, JV documentation and commercial contracts. Manage due diligence exercises end-to-end and prepare detailed risk assessments. Handle deal structuring, regulatory advisory, compliance under Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI and sectoral regulations. Liaise with counterparties, bankers, consultants and overseas counsel for seamless execution. Mentor junior team members and drive transactions independently with partner supervision. Support business development, thought leadership and client relationship management. Requirements: PQE for Senior Associate: 4–7 years PQE for Principal Associate: 7–10+ years Strong experience in M&A, PE/VC and general corporate advisory. Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-handling skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
