Job Description

Looking for a CTO for a series B funded growing tech company for Bengalore location:

Lead all technology initiatives of the company, manage entire technology platform including the strategic planning, development, and implementation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices. Understand complex business requirements very quickly and architect solutions while paying attention to detail. Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization. Responsible for creating white papers and webinars and providing leadership and direction to the technical members. Would be managing and guiding a team on the software development and engineering platforms. The role requires you to have a combination of hands on technical expertise combined with team management. Will work closely with the business team on the technology initiativesResponsible for finalizing the technology partner(s) and managing the relationships. Responsible for timely, within budget and successfully delivery of the technology solutions for the organization. Responsible for ongoing support and other activities related to technology. Responsible for the entire technology setup for the e-commerce business Responsible for any technology initiatives for enabling better customer service Would be continuously developing/exploring new technology avenues.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification:

· University degree in the field of computer science, or another rigorous discipline from a Tier-1 university. An advanced degree is a plus.

Knowledge & Experience:

· Should have experience in mobility (Web and native apps), must have intimate experience with native app development (Android, iOS), as well as experience developing products for mobile web. · 8 to 10 years of experience managing Mobile/Web application development including mobile applications · Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular Mobile/Web application framework. · A technocrat having hands on experience on Ecommerce technologies, pro in coding. · History of strong leadership and ability to maintain a collaborative culture. · Previously managed, mentored, motivated and grew a mature and goal-driven engineering team. · Familiar with more than one software development methodology. · Has contributed to one or more open source projects. · Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization. · Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management. · Familiarity with consumer privacy and payments industry compliance requirements. · Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations.
