With a global presence in 26 countries and a focus on Europe and Asia, the company offers a comprehensive range of insurances, pensions, investments, and services, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Cloud, Digital, Robotics Automation, IoT, Voice Recognition, and Big Data science.RolePosition: Sr. Mainframe DeveloperExperience: 7 - 10 yearsBudget: 22-23 LPALocation: Hiranandani Garden, PowaiCandidates willing to relocate to Mumbai only need to applyRole & Responsibilities:Adhere to security and control, and change control processesDesign, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL and IMS code to meet support and/or project requirements.Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.Work with IT support teams (DBA, server teams) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implementedDevelop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.Responsible for an important part of the full System Development Life CycleWork with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testingParticipate in production support/ duty rotation including weekend and off-hour support coverageProvide Solution Delivery Methodology artefacts associated with application components.Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of developmentTechnical Stack:COBOLIMS as transaction managerDB2 with SQLJCLIT technical background & mainframe programming experienceExperience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development.Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support itemsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to multi-task effectivelyPrioritize Business Impact and UrgencyPerform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasksTesting experienceAbility to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly
