Cath laboratory technician

We are seeking a skilled Cath laboratory technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-12 years of experience in Cath lab procedures and a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. The candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment in the Cath lab.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker implants.
• Assist cardiologists and other medical professionals during procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopes and ultrasound machines.
• Ensure a sterile environment in the Cath lab and maintain equipment.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide care during procedures.
• Document patient information and procedure results in electronic medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.

• 2-12 years of experience in Cath lab procedures.
• Degree or diploma in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, equipment, and procedures.
• Experience operating imaging equipment such as fluoroscopes and ultrasound machines.
• Ability to maintain a sterile environment in the Cath lab.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency procedures.
