Job Summary: The COCO Stores Setup and Operational Manager will be responsible for overseeing the establishment and efficient operation of new COCO stores & wellbeing centre. This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure stores are set up according to company standards and are operationally ready to meet customer needs. The manager will also implement and monitor operational procedures to ensure the stores run smoothly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store & Wellbeing Center Setup:
  • Oversee the site selection and store setup process, ensuring alignment with company standards and timelines
  • Coordinate with construction, design, and procurement teams to ensure timely and efficient store build-out
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies during the setup process
  • Manage rent agreements and ensure they are in place prior to store opening
  • Operational Management:
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for new stores & Wellbeing center 
  • Train and onboard store managers and staff on operational best practices and company policies
  • Monitor store performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Inventory and Supply Chain:
  • Ensure effective inventory management, including stock levels, ordering processes, and minimizing shrinkage
  • Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations:
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers
  • Budgeting and Financial Management:
  • Estimate and manage the budgeting for new store & center setups
  • Oversee store & center budgets, expenditures, and financial performance
  • Implement cost control measures and ensure stores operate within budget
  • Customer Experience:
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction across all COCO stores 
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly
  • Branding and Merchandising:
  • Develop and execute in-store & Wellbeing center branding strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to implement outside branding efforts, including signage, banners, and promotional materials
  • Ensure in-store merchandising aligns with company standards and effectively showcases products
  • Monitor and adjust merchandising strategies based on sales data and customer feedback

 

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite
