Product Engineer

Design & Development: Lead the detailed design and 3D modeling of complex engine components (e.g., cylinder block, cylinder head, valvetrain, crankshaft, turbocharger components) using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX). Analysis & Simulation : Perform or coordinate engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural integrity and durability, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for performance optimization. Create and maintain comprehensive engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Sourcing, Testing, and Quality Assurance to ensure designs are manufactural, cost-effective, and meet all functional requirements. Testing & Validation: Support engine build, testing, and validation activities. Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures or issues, and implement design changes for corrective action. Innovation & Improvement: Proactively identify and implement design improvements to enhance engine efficiency, power density, reliability, and reduce emissions and cost. Project Management: Manage component-level projects, track progress against milestones, and report status to management. Mentor junior engineers or interns as needed. Education: BE Mechanical/ Automobile Experience: 4 to 7 Years
