Position Overview:

The Associate Director - Invoice Processing will play a key role within the finance operations team, specifically in the procure-to-pay (P2P) process and in cross-functional programs, business launches, and financial reporting (controllership). The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and can navigate ambiguity with ease.

In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate with diverse teams, driving success in complex tasks while supporting the company's growth. Strong technical accounting skills and hands-on experience in invoice processing are essential for analyzing critical business requirements and developing innovative solutions to enhance financial performance and reporting. While a background in banking and treasury is a plus, it is not required. The role requires a collaborative mindset and a strategic approach to improving processes and outcomes in the finance function.

Responsibilities:

● Review and drive the operational excellence in the procure-to-pay process;

● Partner/drive automation initiatives from operations and accounting point of view;

● Supervise invoice processing team, providing guidance and training.

● Develop and implement processes to optimize invoice processing efficiency.

● Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements.

● Analyze and reconcile vendor statements.

● Identify and improve payment discrepancies.

● Maintain accurate financial records and reports.

● Identify areas for process improvement.

● Implement changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

● Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • BCOM with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Should have strong Excel skills and the ability to handle volumes,
  • SAP knowledge preferable,
  • Good communication skills and ability to multi-task and deal with ambiguity
  • Understanding of the retail business. Prior experience in a complex retail organization or E-commerce
  • Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
