About the Company:

DGM-Quality Assurance at our corporate headquarters is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all operational facets of our company. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and serving as the second in command, this role provides strategic leadership, quality control expertise, and direction to the quality assurance function throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Collaborate closely with the CTO to develop and execute the company's quality assurance strategy, aligning it with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team, setting clear goals and priorities to drive quality excellence across all operations.
  • Quality Standards and Procedures:
  • Establish and maintain standardized quality assurance procedures for all operational activities, encompassing packaging, labeling, distribution, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality management systems, including Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other applicable regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance Oversight:
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance with FDA, FSSAI, WHO GMP, and other pertinent regulations governing our product portfolio.
  • Work closely with regulatory affairs professionals to interpret and implement regulatory requirements across all operational functions.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of best practices and quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Incident Management and Corrective Actions:
  • Oversee the investigation and resolution of quality-related incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
  • Implement timely and effective corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Quality Audits and Inspections:
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to evaluate compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Develop comprehensive audit plans, conduct audits, and ensure prompt closure of audit findings with appropriate corrective actions.
  • Training and Development:
  • Provide mentorship, training, and support to employees at all levels on quality assurance principles, procedures, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.



Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Science, Pharmacy, or Food Technology. Minimum of 14+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance roles, preferably within industries such as pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, or food ingredients trading. Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization. Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office applications. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) is highly desirable.
