Here are some key responsibilities and skills typically associated with this role: Key Responsibilities: • Data Infrastructure Design: Develop and implement scalable data architectures using GCP services such as Big Query, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. • Data Integration: Design and manage ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the GCP environment. • Performance Optimization: Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure high performance and reliability. • Security and Compliance: Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor data systems for performance issues and implement necessary improvements. • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data architectures, processes, and best practices. Key Skills: • GCP Expertise: Proficiency in GCP services such as Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage. • Data Modeling: Strong skills in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models. • ETL Processes: Experience with ETL tools and processes for data integration. • SQL and No SQL: Proficiency in SQL and No SQL databases. • Programming: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data requirements and design efficient solutions. • Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
