**About this opportunity**:
**What you will do**:

- Working closely with the customer and the solutions architect to translate the customer's business requirements into a Big Data solution
- Design enterprise grade large-scale data processing systems and help identify the best options for architecture.
- Understands the complexity of data and can design systems and models to handle different variety of data with varying levels of volume, velocity and veracity.
- Lead client assessments, preparing current state and future state architectures along with go forward recommendations.
- Work with the Solution Development Lead, Customer project manager & DevOps Architect to develop statements of work, implementation plans, resource plans and project estimates
- Research and experiment with emerging technologies and tools related to big data.
- Data scientist community
- Functional experts, business process owners
- Technology managers
- Data engineers/ analysts
- Solution Architects

**You will bring**:

- 8+ years of experience at post of Data Architect
- Required skills are Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Project Management, Project Estimation, designing, distributed RDBMS, NoSQL platforms, Java, Linux, PHP, Ruby, Python, Informatica, Airflow, Hopworks, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Scala, HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra, Kafka, Sqoop, Flume, NiFi, Airflow, Zookeeper, Postgres, Mongo DB, Cassandra, HBase, Google Cloud Platform or AWS or Azure, Descriptive, Predictive
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
