Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Now Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing Service Now solutions to optimize IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and other business workflows. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver scalable, efficient Service Now solutions while adhering to best practices.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement Service Now modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other platform functionalities.- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and process owners to gather and analyze requirements.- Customize and configure Service Now applications, including workflows, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules.- Integrate Service Now with third-party tools and platforms using APIs, web services, and other technologies.- Perform advanced scripting of Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Pages, Client Scripts, and Glide Record Queries.- Develop and manage Service Now system integrations using MID Servers, REST/SOAP, and other protocols.- Ensure data integrity, platform security, and compliance by implementing robust access control lists (ACLs).- Perform upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and performance of the platform.- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for implemented solutions.- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to the development team on best practices and technical solutions.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 5+ years of experience as a Service Now Developer, including hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, or custom modules.- Proficiency in Java Script, HTML/CSS, Angular JS, and other front-end technologies.- Strong understanding of Service Now’s data model, table structure, and platform architecture.- Experience with Service Now platform upgrades and migrations.- Knowledge of Service Now development best practices, including code review, version control, and testing.- Expertise in Service Now integrations with external systems (e.g., LDAP, SCCM, Azure, and AWS).- Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist).Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in implementing Service Now HRSD, CSM, or Sec Ops modules.- Knowledge of Agile and Dev Ops methodologies.- Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.- Experience with Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, or Mobile Studio.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Soft Skills:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.- Self-motivated and proactive in delivering high-quality results.
