We are looking for a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Tester with strong expertise in Selenium , Java , Agile methodologies , and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our ServiceNow applications by designing and executing automated tests, collaborating with development teams, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, contributing to the successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions.

Required Skills

Test Automation with Selenium and Java:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to validate ServiceNow application functionality, performance, and security.
  • Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and automate test cases accordingly.
  • Execute test cases, identify defects, and track issues in the testing lifecycle.

ServiceNow Testing:

  • Perform end-to-end testing of ServiceNow applications, including but not limited to Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and other ITSM modules.
  • Validate customizations and integrations within ServiceNow environments, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Work on performance, regression, and system integration testing of ServiceNow modules.

Agile Methodology:

  • Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure testing activities align with Agile principles and sprint cycles.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to contribute to testing efforts and overall project success.
  • Assist in defining acceptance criteria and reviewing user stories for testing purposes.

CI/CD Integration (GitHub, Jenkins):

  • Integrate automated test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and GitHub to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback in the development process.
  • Configure Jenkins jobs to run automated tests on each commit, ensuring that the latest code changes do not break existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration of testing into the pipeline.

Defect Management and Reporting:

  • Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
  • Document test results, track test coverage, and prepare detailed test reports for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the development and QA teams to reproduce, investigate, and resolve defects.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in testing tools and technologies and proactively apply them to enhance the testing process.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow testing with a strong focus on automated testing .
  • Proven experience with Selenium and Java for test automation in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub .
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in testing ServiceNow ITSM modules, such as Incident Management , Change Management , and Service Catalog , is highly desirable.
  • Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and test management.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Java for developing automated test scripts.
  • Experience integrating test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitHub .
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform and its modules (ITSM, ITOM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred but not required).
  • Certified Selenium Tester or ISTQB certification (a plus).
