We are looking for a skilled and experienced Service Now Tester with strong expertise in Selenium , Java , Agile methodologies , and CI/CD tools (Git Hub, Jenkins) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Service Now applications by designing and executing automated tests, collaborating with development teams, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, contributing to the successful delivery of Service Now solutions. Responsibilities - Service Now testing experience and ITSM experience (good to have) Selenium, Java Agile experience Knowledge on CICD tools - Git Hub, Jenkins is a must Overall 5+ years Has to be an immediate joiner to work from Chennai location Required Skills Test Automation with Selenium and Java: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to validate Service Now application functionality, performance, and security. Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and automate test cases accordingly. Execute test cases, identify defects, and track issues in the testing lifecycle. Service Now Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of Service Now applications, including but not limited to Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and other ITSM modules. Validate customizations and integrations within Service Now environments, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. Work on performance, regression, and system integration testing of Service Now modules. Agile Methodology: Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure testing activities align with Agile principles and sprint cycles. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to contribute to testing efforts and overall project success. Assist in defining acceptance criteria and reviewing user stories for testing purposes. CI/CD Integration (Git Hub, Jenkins): Integrate automated test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Git Hub to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback in the development process. Configure Jenkins jobs to run automated tests on each commit, ensuring that the latest code changes do not break existing functionality. Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to ensure smooth integration of testing into the pipeline. Defect Management and Reporting: Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Service Now). Document test results, track test coverage, and prepare detailed test reports for stakeholders. Work closely with the development and QA teams to reproduce, investigate, and resolve defects. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in testing tools and technologies and proactively apply them to enhance the testing process. Experience: 5+ years of experience in Service Now testing with a strong focus on automated testing . Proven experience with Selenium and Java for test automation in an enterprise environment. Hands-on experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git Hub . Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment. Experience in testing Service Now ITSM modules, such as Incident Management , Change Management , and Service Catalog , is highly desirable. Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and test management. Skills & Expertise: Strong knowledge of Selenium Web Driver and Java for developing automated test scripts. Experience integrating test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and Git Hub . Solid understanding of Service Now platform and its modules (ITSM, ITOM, etc.). Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or Soap UI . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams. Certifications: Service Now Certified Application Developer (preferred but not required). Certified Selenium Tester or ISTQB certification (a plus).
