Position Summary:
The HR Manager will lead and manage the human resources functions, ensuring smooth HR operations and the alignment of HR practices with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a proven track record in talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties of the position include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
Talent Acquisition: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
Employee Onboarding: Ensure smooth onboarding processes and integration for new hires, promoting a positive experience from day one.
Performance Management: Manage performance appraisal systems and ensure that they drive employee performance, engagement, and development.
Employee Relations: Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and leadership, addressing concerns and ensuring resolution of conflicts.
Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and comply with legal regulations.
Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other relevant statutory requirements.
Compensation and Benefits: Oversee payroll, compensation strategies, and employee benefits, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and support career growth.
Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
HR Data Management: Maintain accurate HR records and use data analytics to make informed decisions about workforce planning and development.
Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategy with the overall business strategy.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring that HR operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with company objectives.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). A minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR management or a similar role. In-depth understanding of labor laws and HR best practices. Experience with HR metrics and HRIS software. Proven track record in managing HR projects and driving organizational change. Ability to lead, manage, and mentor the HR team, ensuring efficient operation and strategic alignment with business objectives. In-depth knowledge of current HR policies, procedures, and best practices, including employee relations, recruitment, compensation, and performance management. Proven experience in resolving employee grievances, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting open communication. Expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, as well as employee development and succession planning. Strong understanding of labor laws, HR-related regulations, and compliance requirements (local, state, and federal). Ability to analyze HR data to inform decision-making and address organizational challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels. Strong negotiation, conflict management, and mediation skills. Proficiency in HR software and systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems), as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and foster a respectful, inclusive work environment.
Language Ability:
Fluency in English is essential, both in written and verbal communication, to effectively liaise with global teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in local languages (e.g., Kannada or Hindi) is preferred to facilitate clear communication with regional employees and external partners. Ability to draft and edit professional documents such as reports, policies, and employee communications.
Math Ability:
Strong numerical aptitude for budgeting, payroll management, and analyzing workforce metrics. Competence in data interpretation and reporting, including the ability to manage HR analytics and draw insights from statistical data.
Reasoning Ability:
Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve employee issues, implement HR strategies, and optimize processes. Critical thinking is required to analyze HR trends, policies, and legal updates, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Ability to manage conflict resolution and handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and sound judgment.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS systems for employee data management, payroll processing, and performance tracking. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) for creating reports, presentations, and HR documentation. Familiarity with recruitment and onboarding platforms and collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams for effective team communication.
Certificates and Licenses:
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
Travel:
This position does not require travel.
