Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Market Insights and Analytics Manager with a solid background in consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and data analysis, particularly within the FMCG, CPG, and retail sectors. The ideal candidate will excel in leveraging Retail Audit Panel data and other resources to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end research projects, focusing on cross-industry consumer insights and competitive intelligence to inform strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze Point of Sale (POS) and customer data, contributing to brand and category performance assessments.
- Oversee and mentor a team of analysts to deliver high-quality, actionable reports that support growth strategies, product innovation, and customer satisfaction.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation using both qualitative and quantitative methods to derive market sizing, demand forecasting, and competitive positioning insights.
- Utilize Retail Audit Panel data to understand industry dynamics, market trends, and consumer behavior, supporting strategic recommendations.
- Develop interactive presentations and reports using Microsoft Office to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging market trends and competitive landscape to enhance client service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 6-7 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, and analytics within the FMCG, CPG, or retail industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with strong skills in data visualization and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of Retail Audit Panel data analysis and application.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization (optional but advantageous).
- Knowledge of customer experience management and survey tools.
- Certification in market research or related field is a plus.
