Job Title: Data lifecycle management Lead

Job Type: 6 Months of Contract to Hire

Experience in IFRS 15/16 is a MUST

Responsibilities:

  1. Month-End Activities: Take charge of month-end activities related to revenue accounting, including revenue posting, manual adjustments, and journal preparation. Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and properly documented.
  2. Revenue Accounting Compliance: Ensure the consistent application of revenue accounting policies and procedures across the organization. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations to guarantee compliance.
  3. Reconciliations and Analysis: Perform regular reconciliations, analyses, and reporting across various systems to verify the accuracy and completeness of revenue data. Identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
  4. Project Implementation and Stabilization: Act as a key contributor in the implementation of new projects related to revenue accounting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and provide support during the Business-As-Usual (BAU) stabilization phase.
  5. MIS Reporting and Standardization: Lead the implementation of Management Information System (MIS) reporting related to revenue accounting. Standardize reporting processes across all local markets to ensure uniformity and comparability of financial information.
  6. Ensure a clear understanding of the SOX control environment, control design and operating effectiveness, and ensure controls are relevant to changing dynamics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in revenue accounting and month-end activities.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606/IFRS 15/16).
  • Proficient in using financial systems and tools for reconciliations and reporting.
  • Experience in project implementation and cross-functional collaboration is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
