Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and optimizing supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supply chain processes, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. You will ensure the effective flow of goods and services, aiming to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


Supply Chain Strategy & Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, production, logistics, and finance) to ensure alignment and meet company goals.

Inventory & Procurement Management:

  • Oversee the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials or finished goods.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock and reducing carrying costs.

Logistics & Distribution:

  • Coordinate logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Monitor supply chain activities to ensure products are delivered on time and at the best possible cost.
  • Negotiate contracts with third-party vendors and logistics providers.

Supplier & Vendor Relations:

  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews.

Risk & Compliance Management:

  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Data & Reporting:

  • Analyze supply chain data and provide detailed reports on performance, costs, and delivery times.
  • Utilize data analytics and technology to optimize supply chain processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience: o Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field. o Hands-on experience with supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Proven track record of managing supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Education: o A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.


Skills:


o Strong understanding of supply chain processes (procurement, logistics, inventory management, etc.).

o Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.

o Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

o Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards. Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCP, or similar).

• Experience in demand forecasting and planning.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities
