DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - SALES
Position Overview
Reporting to the Strategic Head Sales, The Deputy General Manager is responsible for planning, development and implementation of long term sales strategies in order to meet company targets. Major duties include: providing management communications to the Sales team; supporting the sales team and ensuring that sales targets are met, monitoring & reporting on sales metrics, managing the sales administration process and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
·        Responsible for achieving individual and team sales targets monthly, quarterly & yearly.
·        Participate in target setting exercise and ensure that the sales targets for the assigned projects are met.
·        Responsible for generating sales with existing customers and developing opportunities with new customers.
·        Build a customer-centric and high-performing sales team that is committed to exceeding sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative sales practices and by achieving service quality norms.
·        Develop project specific sales strategies based on product segment and customer profile.
·        Keeping abreast of market trends to obtain intelligence reports regarding competition and facilitating the formulation of strategies to counter competition.
·        Provide the Marketing teams with inputs to help understand effectiveness of branding initiatives and to provide insights for future initiatives
·        Manage the Sales team effectively by coaching, mentoring, provide periodic feedback and exposure to enhance learning.
·        Create a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters team performance with strong communication and relationship management skills.
·        Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all BTL programs and activities.
·        Attend industry conferences and events to network and develop industry expertise.
·        Report to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities and threats.
·        Evaluate and improve sales and sales administration processes.
·        Collecting customer feedback and market research.
·        Successfully plan and participate in real estate exhibitions.
·        Prepare sales reports in prescribed formats.
·        Prepare documentation related to sales and marketing for customers/channel partners
·        Distribution of leads and monitoring team's performance and motivating them to reach targets.
·        Partake in all arrangements for project launches.
·        Monitor CRM Processes and collections and ensure customer satisfaction by achieving delivery and service quality norms
·        Schedule and lead weekly team meetings.
·        Develop and maintain relationships with various Channel partners, Banks, etc.
·         Identification of new channel partners and reinforcement of old partners.
·         Managing Channel partners and drive sales through them.
·         Visit channel partners to stimulate sales.
·         To meet targeted number of additions to the channel partner database every month/quarter.
·         Create activity reports managing the performance of channel partners.
·         Negotiate the terms of an agreement and assist the channel partners for closing sales.
