About the Operational Model

As our product is different from others, so is our business model. All our fresh products are made for the day they are shipped to retail stores. We have zero finished goods inventory, and hence no intermediary stockists or transitory warehouses. This is possible only with the help of an inhouse fleet of vehicles and distribution personnel. Currently a fleet of 500+ dedicated vehicles and crew touch 30,000 retailers daily and replenish 100,000+ Kgs units of the freshest produce.


Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Senior Manager - Trade Marketing professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive sales and enhance brand visibility within the retail channel. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and a proven track record of implementing successful marketing campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategy Development : Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to promote products and drive sales across various retail channels. Align strategies with company goals and customer needs to ensure maximum impact.
  • Retail & Channel Management : Lead the development of tailored marketing programs for key retail partners, ensuring consistent messaging, effective in-store promotions, and impactful point-of-sale materials.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with Sales and Brand teams to ensure the alignment of trade marketing efforts with overall marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Budget Management : Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Track and report on budget expenditures and sales performance.
  • Campaign Execution & Monitoring : Oversee the execution of trade marketing campaigns, from concept through implementation, ensuring timely and effective roll-out. Monitor performance and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Trade & Shopper Insights : Gather and analyze market and consumer insights to inform strategies. Utilize shopper and retailer data to identify opportunities and improve the customer experience.
  • Promotions & Events : Lead the planning and execution of promotional events, trade shows, and activations that engage customers and drive product awareness.
  • Performance Analysis : Track the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular reports to senior management and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of trade marketing professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that drives results and promotes professional growth.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8-12 years of experience in trade marketing or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in retail marketing, promotional strategy, and budget management.
  • Strong understanding of the retail environment, consumer behavior, and channel dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with trade marketing software is a plus.
