Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies, including Agile and DevOps environments.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, JUnit, TestNG, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in creating automated test scripts. Solid experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling), simulator testing and security testing practices.
Good-to-Have:
GitHUb, CI/CD, JIRA, Agile. Any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
Design scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Evaluate and integrate appropriate testing tools and technologies, aligning with the organization’s goals.
Lead automation efforts for various types of tests, particularly focusing on continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Define metrics and KPIs to measure test coverage, quality, and performance.
Define performance testing strategies, including load, stress, and scalability testing.
Continuously refine and improve testing processes, reducing bottlenecks and ensuring smooth execution of releases.
Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying gaps in test coverage and proposing effective solutions.
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring QA engineers and driving cross-team collaboration.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for quality at all stages of development.
