Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to oversee the quality assurance and quality control activities in our (manufacturing/production) facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance/Quality Control:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Identify and address quality issues and defects.
2. Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of QA/QC inspectors and technicians.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
3. Quality Metrics and Reporting:
- Develop and track quality metrics, such as defect rates, quality ratings, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
Requirements:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality management, or a related field.
2. Certifications:
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM), or a related certification is preferred.
3. Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
4. Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
