Role Overview:
The Sales Program Manager will streamline and enhance sales processes, ensuring operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. This role will support the direct sales teams by optimizing lead management, refining data analytics, and providing strategic sales insights. A crucial part of the role involves working with cross-functional teams to support Allen’s outreach to partner schools and students, particularly through B2 B collaborations with educational institutions. Responsibilities listed below are indicative as team is in building mode
Key Responsibilities:
Process design: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in sales workflows by implementing standardized procedures across the sales team and ensuring alignment with business objectives
CRM & Data Management: Oversee the CRM system, ensure data accuracy, and conduct regular audits to support actionable insights for the sales team.
Performance Analytics: Provide detailed reporting and analysis on sales activities, trends, and outcomes to track KPIs and support strategic decision-making.
Training & Support: Train sales representatives on processes, tools, and best practices, offering continuous support to drive performance and achieve targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with product, category and marketing to identify sales initiatives, build sales materials and feature requirements to meet sales & customer needs
Just add that as the team is evolving this is just indicative. The role will evolve to other responsibilities in Sales excellence and analytics in future.
Sales Excellence & Insights: Provide detailed insights and strategic recommendations to improve team performance. Identify and promote best practices across the sales function to elevate overall performance.
Requirements:
Proficieny in CRM and sales tools (eg: Salesforce)
Strong aptitude and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration abilities.
Hands-on attitude and ownership mentality
Experience with sales process optimization in a startup environment
Qualification:
B. Tech from top-tier colleges
2-4 years of experience
Strong communication and negotiation skills
