The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-grade AKS clusters with a strong emphasis on GitOps, CI/CD automation, security, scalability, and high availability in Azure environments.Responsibilities:AKS Deployment & Management- Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for enterprise workloads.- Configure cluster networking, ingress controllers, DNS, and load balancing.- Optimize scalability, high availability, performance, and cost efficiency of AKS workloads.- Implement Azure security best practices including Azure Policy, RBAC, and access controls.- Automate AKS provisioning and infrastructure setup using Terraform and GitHub Actions.Kubernetes Cluster Administration- Administer and manage Kubernetes core components such as API Server, etcd, Scheduler, and Controller Manager.- Design and manage Kubernetes networking using CNI plugins like Calico.- Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization.- Troubleshoot cluster-level and application-level issues.- Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies for Kubernetes clusters.CI/CD & GitOps- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based applications using GitHub Actions.- Implement and manage GitOps workflows using Flux for automated and consistent deployments.- Perform Kustomization with Flux for environment-specific configurations.Integrations & Tools- Integrate and manage NGINX Ingress Controller for traffic management.- Work with Calico for Kubernetes networking and security policies.- Exposure to Solr or similar platforms is an added advantage.Technical Competencies:- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AKS, Azure Infrastructure, and DevOps practices.- Strong expertise in Kubernetes cluster administration and AKS operations.- Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and GitOps tools (Flux).- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts and CNI plugins.- Experience implementing Kubernetes and Azure security best practices.- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills.- Good communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.Qualifications / Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.- 5–8 years of relevant experience in AKS, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps.- Strong experience in enterprise-scale Kubernetes deployments.- Ability to work across distributed teams in a Pan-India setup.- Immediate to short notice joiners preferred.
