Overview:


As an Endorsement Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing endorsement deals with influencers, celebrities, and other key figures in alignment with the brand's objectives. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to leverage these endorsements to drive brand awareness and sales. Strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of the industry is required.


Responsibilities:


• Independently drive revenue for Endorsements in the region, identifying and pitching partnership opportunities and negotiating the terms of endorsement deals.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brands, serving as the point of contact for all communication and collaboration.

• Work closely with the sales team to leverage endorsements to drive product sales and revenue.

• Collaborate with the internal teams to develop creative campaigns and activations featuring endorsers to drive brand awareness and engagement.

• Track and analyze the performance of endorsement campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, constantly seeking new opportunities to innovate and improve our approach.

• Remain abreast of developments and coverage within the entertainment and pop-culture sphere, including personnel movements, investments, joint ventures, takeovers, etc.


Requirements:


• 6-10 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably from media, entertainment or marketing agencies.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Film Studies or a related field is preferred.

• Strong communication skills in English and the regional language with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively multitask to meet tight deadlines.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to ensure successful brand placements.

  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and an understanding of the entertainment landscape.
  • Must have experience from media companies (print, radio, OTT), advertising (not client servicing only central business team), entertainment marketing agencies (The Route) and B2B marketplaces.
  • Must be locally based or fluent in the regional language with excellent market knowledge of that region. 
  • Must have connections with brands and media agencies in that region.
  • Should have an excellent understanding of the media landscape, overall client budgets and spends. 
  • Must have strong communication skills in English and the local language/s. 
  • Should be able to operate independently in that region.
