This is a chance to make a significant impact at a company that is shaping the future of AI and data management.Our commitment to innovation, customer success, and market leadership makes this an exciting and rewarding role for a driven professional looking to make a lasting impact in the world of AI and data storage.Role Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance solutions within the EXA Data Services (S3DS/NSDS) product line.The candidate should have a strong background in Java, Spring Framework, and distributed systems architecture, with proven experience in building large-scale storage or data service products end-to-end.Key Responsibilities:- Define and own the architecture, design, and technical roadmap for S3DataService component.- Lead the product lifecycle from requirements and design to development, testing, and release.- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and reviews for the engineering team.- Drive improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed data systems.- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Support (L3) teams to ensure stability and quality.- Evaluate and implement customer-driven features in collaboration with Product Management.- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.Required Skills and Experience:- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework (Core, Boot, Data), and server-side programming.- Hands-on experience with Maven, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.- Solid understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and distributed systems.- Deep knowledge of data storage, Big Data systems, Cassandra, Hadoop, and Elasticsearch.- Experience with S3 object storage protocol and related storage technologies.- Strong foundation in Linux, networking, and infrastructure-level debugging.- Proven ability to lead design and implementation for large-scale enterprise systems.- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Self-sufficient, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.- Experience with Python, containerization (Podman/Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD workflows.- Prior experience with distributed file systems or high-availability storage solutions.- Understanding of security, data consistency, and fault-tolerant architectures.
