Open Position-Java Architect with Unsecured Lending or Cards IssuanceLooking for immediate to 30days joiners onlyExperience-13-20YearsLocation-PuneSkills-Java/J2ee , Quarkus & Java Expertise, Event Driven, DockerJD-An Architect is expected to understand a broad range of application and product architecture; have a very strong history of working closely with both internal and external stakeholders and to be able to discuss and articulate solutions from the business perspective as well as at a technical level. Architect is responsible in leading and overseeing the overall application design and engineering standards across multiple workstreams.The ideal candidate will be required to work in a cross functional environment in defining and building end-to-end solutions and strong exposure to Domain Driven Designs, Event Based Architecture, API and micro services architecture is required.Key Responsibilities:● Architect and Design: Develop scalable and resilient cloud-native applicationsfollowing microservices and hexagonal architecture principles.● Quarkus & Java Expertise: Leverage Quarkus and Java best practices tooptimize performance, efficiency, and maintainability.● Event-Driven Systems: Design and integrate Kafka-based distributed systemsfor asynchronous processing and event-driven communication.● Multi-Tenant Applications: Architect multi-tenant solutions ensuring dataisolation, security, and performance optimization.● Caching Strategies: Implement Redis caching for improved applicationresponsiveness and scalability.● Service Mesh: Utilize Istio for service discovery, traffic management, security,and observability.● Observability & Monitoring: Integrate Open Telemetry, Splunk, and Dynatracefor real-time monitoring, tracing, and logging.● Cloud & DevOps: Work with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Argo CD, Helm Charts todeploy and manage applications efficiently.● Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices are followed in allarchitectural decisions.● Collaboration: Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, productowners, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.Required Skills & Experience:● 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing Java/J2EEenterprise systems and open source based multi-tier, distributed webapplications.Candidate should have experience in Unsecured Lending or Cards Issuance● Strong background and experience working on cloud-native applicationdevelopment and cloud migration, operationalizing cloud environment; costoptimization, well-architected framework, security best practices, applicationmodernization.● Strong background and experience working on projects with micro servicesbased event driven architecture.● Solid knowledge, experience and background of API paradigm such asREST/JSON, OAuth, API clients.● Strong experience with Kafka, including topics, producers, consumers, andstream processing.● Proficiency in Hexagonal Architecture for building maintainable and modularapplications.● Experience developing multi-tenant applications with proper tenant isolation.● In-depth knowledge of cloud-native application design patterns and bestpractices.● Experience with architecting observable systems leveraging technologies likeOpen Telemetry, Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch etc.● Strong understanding of Istio service mesh for secure and resilientcommunication between microservices.● Experience with Redis caching strategies for performance optimization.● Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Argo CD, Helm Charts forcontainerized application deployment.● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and DevOpsmethodologies.● Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and leadership abilities.Nice to Have:● Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or WebSockets.● Experience working with AVRO format.● Exposure to AI/ML-driven observability and performance optimization tools.● Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).If you are interested to explore this opportunity kindly share your cv to me at swasti.sarangi@globant.com to discuss further.
