The company operates as a service provider and manufacturer within the electrical infrastructure sector.Role DescriptionCommissioning & Testing:  Perform comprehensive site acceptance tests (SAT), functional tests, secondary injection tests, and primary injection tests on various types of protective relays (electro-mechanical, solid-state, and numerical IEDs) and associated control panels.Documentation & Design Review:  Review and interpret technical specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and protection settings files.Relay Configuration:  Configure, program, and parameterize Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) using manufacturer-specific software.Troubleshooting:  Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in protection and control circuits during the commissioning phase.SCADA Integration:  Verify communication protocols (e.g., IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3) and integrate protective relays with Substation Automation Systems (SAS) or SCADA.Reporting:  Prepare detailed test reports, commissioning documentation, and "as-built" drawings for project handover.Collaboration:  Coordinate effectively with clients, project managers, construction teams, and design engineers to ensure timely project delivery.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.Experience: Minimum of Two years of experience specifically in protection relay testing and commissioning.Technical Skills:Proficiency in the use of relay test equipment (e.g., Omicron CMC series, Doble F series, ISA test sets).Hands-on experience with protection relays from major manufacturers (e.g., GE, Siemens, ABB, Schneider).Strong understanding of protection principles, fault analysis, and coordination studies.Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to project sites, potentially for extended periods.
