Job Title: Performance Tester - Load Runner & JMeter (Banking/BSFI Sector)

Reports to: Technical Lead/Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester with expertise in Load Runner and JMeter, specifically in the Banking/BSFI sector, to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance tests to ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of our software applications in the Banking/BSFI sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing, experience with Load Runner and JMeter, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of working in the Banking/BSFI sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Develop Performance Test Plans: Create comprehensive performance test plans, including test scenarios, scripts, and data requirements, to ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of our software applications in the Banking/BSFI sector.
  2. Execute Performance Tests: Utilize Load Runner and JMeter to execute performance tests, including load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing, to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the Banking/BSFI sector.
  3. Analyze Test Results: Analyze test results to identify performance issues, trends, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to the development team, specifically in the context of the Banking/BSFI sector.
  4. Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve performance issues, and provide input on performance optimization strategies, with a focus on the Banking/BSFI sector.
  5. Maintain Performance Testing Environment: Ensure the performance testing environment is properly configured, maintained, and updated to support performance testing activities in the Banking/BSFI sector.
  6. Develop and Maintain Performance Testing Scripts: Develop and maintain performance testing scripts using Load Runner and JMeter to ensure consistency and efficiency in performance testing activities, specifically in the Banking/BSFI sector.
  7. Conduct Training and Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with team members to ensure the team is proficient in performance testing tools and techniques, with a focus on the Banking/BSFI sector.
  8. Participate in Test Automation: Participate in test automation efforts to ensure performance testing is integrated into the overall testing strategy, specifically in the context of the Banking/BSFI sector.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from a recognized university.
  2. 5+ years of experience in performance testing with Load Runner and JMeter, specific experience in the Banking/BSFI sector.
  3. Strong background in software testing, including performance testing, load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing, with a focus on the Banking/BSFI sector.
  4. Experience with performance testing tools, including Load Runner and JMeter, and a deep understanding of the Banking/BSFI sector's performance testing requirements.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide recommendations, specifically in the context of the Banking/BSFI sector.
  6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and business stakeholders in the Banking/BSFI sector.
  7. Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git), specifically in the Banking/BSFI sector.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects, with a focus on meeting the performance testing requirements of the Banking/BSFI sector.
