As an AI Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect , you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisation's technological future. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex AI-powered solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture: Design and implement robust and scalable cloud architectures on Azure, leveraging a variety of services such as Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security. Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud infrastructure documentation, including diagrams, scripts, and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud strategies aligned with business objectives. AI Infrastructure: Architect and deploy AI and machine learning solutions, including data pipelines, model training, and inference pipelines. Optimise AI workloads for performance and cost-efficiency by leveraging Azure AI services like Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies and incorporate them into our solutions. Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and infrastructure, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential threats. Stay informed about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and implement appropriate countermeasures. Automation and Dev Ops: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools like Azure Dev Ops, Terraform, or Ansible. Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Mentor and guide team members on cloud technologies, AI, and best practices. Provide technical leadership and expertise to drive innovation and solve complex technical challenges. Required Qualifications: Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Microsoft Azure. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud infrastructures. Deep knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, including data pipelines, model training, and deployment. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Power Shell) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible). Experience with Azure Dev Ops or similar CI/CD tools. Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for emerging technologies and a continuous learning mindset. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert). Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks). Experience with serverless computing (Azure Functions, Azure App Service).
