Location: On-site Duration: 6 Months Eligibility: Final-year students / Fresh graduates Department: Quality Assurance / IT About the Role; We are looking for a QA Intern (Information Technology) who is eager to learn software testing concepts and gain hands-on experience in ensuring product quality. The intern will work closely with QA and development teams to test applications, report defects, and support quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities Understand software requirements and test scenarios Write and execute manual test cases Identify, log, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira) Perform smoke, sanity, and regression testing Assist in testing web and API-based applications Re-test fixes and verify defect resolution Maintain test documentation and reports Collaborate with developers and QA team members Required Skills & Knowledge Basic understanding of software testing concepts Knowledge of manual testing fundamentals Basic IT concepts (Operating Systems, Networking, Web basics) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and logical thinking Good verbal and written communication skills Good to Have (Optional) Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla) Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Postman) Understanding of SDLC & STLC Basic programming or scripting knowledge Eligibility Criteria Pursuing or completed B.Tech / BCA / MCA / BSc IT / Diploma in IT Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year experience Strong willingness to learn and adapt What You Will Learn Real-world QA and testing workflows Hands-on experience with test case design and execution Exposure to Agile development practices Collaboration with experienced developers and QA engineers Industry-standard tools and processes Career Growth; Successful interns may be considered for full-time roles such as QA Engineer, Software Tester, or Automation QA (with training).
