PurposeOwn end-to-end packets across all services, combining agentic AI with targeted manual searching to deliver client-ready, reproducible results.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan approach; design/iterate prompts; run agentic chains; fill gaps via manual search.Build claim-element mappings/EoU with precise citations; ensure reproducibility and traceable evidence.Write client-ready sections (method, sources, conclusions); flag risks/assumptions clearly.Improve prompt libraries, search patterns, QA checklists, guide juniors via review feedback.Must-have2–6+ years in patent research (novelty, invalidation, claim charts; drafting support).Strong grasp of claims, families, citations, CPC/IPC; clear technical writing.Patent & IP ExpertiseSolid background in patent research and analytics : novelty, invalidation, landscape, claim charts, drafting support.Experience interpreting claims, patent families, CPC/IPC classifications, citations, and essentiality analysis .Familiarity with standard-essential patents (SEP) and exposure to global patent databases (USPTO, EPO, WIPO, Google Patents, Espacenet).Ability to draft claim-element mapping (EoU) and technical documentation aligned with patent standards.Education BackgroundBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering, Biotech Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , or related fields.Strong understanding of digital systems, signal processing, VLSI, semiconductor devices, wireless communication, mechanical systems & design fundamentals , and embedded systems.Exposure to AI/ML applications in ECE & Mechanical domains (e.g., computer vision, IoT, 5G/6G communications, predictive maintenance, CAD/CAE automation).Knowledge of IP law basics, patent life cycle, and patent analytics.Tools (examples)AI & agentic: ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini; orchestration/agent tools; prompt libraries; evaluation sets.Patent/NPL: Google Patents, Espacenet, Patentscope, USPTO/PAIR; commercial analytics tools as assigned.Other: Translators, spreadsheets, basic data/visual aids.KPIsFTR & audit pass-rate, TAT adherenceLow defect leakage, playbook contributionsAI-workflow adoptionLeveling NotesStrategist: Independent on standard/medium complexity; occasional reviews.Senior Strategist: Anchors complex scopes; optimizes prompt patterns; conducts peer reviews/root-cause.Service ScopeCovers Novelty/Patentability, Invalidation/Opposition, Claim Charts/EoU, Drafting Support, and SEP essentiality. All tools are used with human verification.
