Senior Automation Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based test automation, Selenium, API testing, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber. If you're passionate about quality, automation, and delivering high-performance, bug-free applications, we want to hear from youKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.Create and execute API test cases using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.Implement and maintain BDD test scripts using Cucumber in collaboration with developers and business analysts.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end quality.Identify test requirements, create detailed test plans, and write reusable automation scripts.Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.Must-Have SkillsStrong experience in Java programming for test automationHands-on experience with Selenium WebDriverProficient in API testing (RESTful services)Experience with BDD frameworks, particularly CucumberGood understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesFamiliarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)Working knowledge of version control systems like GitStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CIExposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure)Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plusExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsFamiliarity with Playwright for modern end-to-end testingExposure to mobile automation tools such as Appium
