Title: Bangalore BU Head & Site Leader
Job Summary:
This position provides an excellent entry point to quickly learn, both business, product, technology, and the People function, while providing high visibility and opportunity to interact with an extensive range of global stakeholders. This level of visibility and opportunity comes with high performance expectations. That means a strong ability to deliver results when measured against a high bar while focusing on our company culture.
Experience: 15+ years of automotive industry experience ( preferred engineering services ), including a significant experience in managing all aspects of Delivery and Operations of an Offshore Centre. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in core automotive embedded software preferrably in development is mandatory.
Location: JP Nagar 8th Phase, Bangalore, India
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of technology centre in Bangalore. Plan and execute on a long-term strategy for Bangalore, including product, engineering, and M&A.
- Will be incharge for Bangalore Technical centre, Business consulting to Automotive customers and accountable for-Profit Generation.
- Represent client in Bangalore for product and technology. Build the brand among and attract, develop, and retain great engineers and engineering managers, who thrive working in innovative, user-focused, fast paced environment.
- Own the technical strategic roadmap planning for Bangalore and help shape the engineering strategy for the organization as a whole.
- Hold the teams to high standards in engineering and quality practices, speed of delivery, architecture and design, and code quality.
- Develop goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity.
- Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals.
- Ensure that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g., people, material, equipment etc.).
- Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity and profitability.
- Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers.
- Gather, analyse, and interpret external and internal data and write reports.
- Assess overall department performance against objectives.
- Represent the company in events, conferences etc.
- Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines.
- Coordinate with other Technical Teams and stakeholders to deliver better service.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive revenue and profitability improvements.
- Handle high levels of confidentiality and confidential data.
- Will be incharge for Bangalore BU, Managing Team, Service, Business Forecasting and Planning.
- Self-driven and attention to detail.
- High sense of ownership and responsibility.
KRA:
- Month on Month Profit Generation by effectively Running the Business unit.
- Always should Exceed the Customers Expectation.
# This title's career path will elevate to Global Engineering Head and further to CTO.
