Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative interior designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize and develop design solutions that meet the needs and preferences of our clients. The candidate should have a strong sense of aesthetics, knowledge of current design trends, and be able to work collaboratively with our team.
Preference will be given to candidates who are from in and around Udupi.
Responsibilities:
- Develop interior design concepts and present them to clients for review and approval
- Collaborate with other designers, architects, and contractors to ensure that designs meet functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for interior spaces, including layouts, materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories
- Select and source furniture, lighting, and décor items that fit within the design concept and budget.
- Oversee the installation of design elements, including coordination with vendors, contractors, and clients
- Maintain accurate project records and manage project timelines and budgets
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- 2+ years of experience in interior design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Basic Revit and other design software
- Ability to create 3D and 3D renders suitable for easy visualization and discussion.
- Strong understanding of design principles and current trends
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Understanding of building codes and regulations
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
