Python Architect – Test Automation

Job Title : Python Architect – Test Automation & Automotive DiagnosticsLocation : PuneExperience : 10+ yearsKey Responsibilities :Architect and design scalable Python-based test automation frameworks using advanced OOPS principles.Lead the development of automated test cases for both functional and non-functional system requirements .Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system specifications and derive test strategies.Apply ISTQB-compliant methodologies to design and implement robust test cases.Drive test coverage for CAN, UDS, and Diagnostics over CAN protocols in automotive systems.Mentor junior engineers and review code for quality, performance, and maintainability.Ensure integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines.Required Skills :Expert-level Python programming with experience in architecting test frameworks.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.Proven experience in test automation for embedded or automotive systems.Hands-on experience with CAN, UDS, and Diagnostics over CAN protocols.Familiarity with tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, Vector tools , or similar.Deep understanding of ISTQB testing methodologies and their practical application.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and test management tools.Preferred Qualifications :ISTQB Certification (Advanced or Expert level).Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.Exposure to safety-critical systems (ISO 26262) is a plus.
