Job Title: Python Architect – Test Automation & Automotive Diagnostics

Location: Pune

Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design scalable Python-based test automation frameworks using advanced OOPS principles.
  • Lead the development of automated test cases for both functional and non-functional system requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system specifications and derive test strategies.
  • Apply ISTQB-compliant methodologies to design and implement robust test cases.
  • Drive test coverage for CAN, UDS, and Diagnostics over CAN protocols in automotive systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review code for quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Ensure integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

  • Expert-level Python programming with experience in architecting test frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Proven experience in test automation for embedded or automotive systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CAN, UDS, and Diagnostics over CAN protocols.
  • Familiarity with tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, Vector tools, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of ISTQB testing methodologies and their practical application.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and test management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB Certification (Advanced or Expert level).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to safety-critical systems (ISO 26262) is a plus.
