Software Engineer – AI Platform (Full Stack or Backend)Location: 100% RemoteSalary: upto ₹18 LPACompany: Healthtech AI StartupKey Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Python-based microservices and APIs (FastAPI preferred) to expose AI/ML functionality.
• Build data pipelines and orchestration logic connecting model outputs, inference runs, and biological datasets.
• Integrate with internal/external systems (AWS S3, SageMaker, Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, BigQuery).
• Collaborate to containerize and deploy models using Docker, ECR, ECS or serverless infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployment via CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).
• Monitor application health, implement robust logging and error-handling.
• Participate in sprint planning, peer code reviews, and documentation.Minimum Qualifications:
• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong command of Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI preferred; Flask/Django acceptable).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, containerization (Docker), and cloud-native development.
• Experience with version control, testing frameworks, and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (preferably AWS).Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
• Experience with AI/ML model serving and production inference pipelines.
• Exposure to scientific computing or data-heavy domains (biotech, healthcare, research platforms).
• Familiarity with job schedulers (AWS Batch, Airflow, Step Functions).
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Exposure to front-end frameworks ) is a plus.
