The Level 2 Infrastructure engineer is a key role providing technical leadership in infrastructure operation delivery excellence. Possessing a can-do attitude and problem solving mind to automate operational tasks, implement preventive and corrective measures.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Infrastructure and security operations which infra is responsible for all L2 Active Directory operations

• Admin account life cycling

• Account restoration

• Various operations on-demand

• Scripts maintenance


Infrastructure services operations:

• DHCP / DNS / Certificates / Shared folders operations


Messaging operations :

• Exchange policies operations / SPF, DKIM, DMARC setup or change tasks

• SPAM, Phishing identification and remediation

• Mails restoration or purge

• L2 troubleshooting of email services


IT Asset provisioning:

• Servers on-premise or cloud-based provisioning

• Network requirements analysis

• Security principles and processes oriented


IT Asset compliance:

• Monitor and troubleshoot backup infrastructure

• Maintain and operate the monitoring platform

• Keep consistency with operational guidelines/processes among all systems


IT Change management

• Deliver any change or work tasks requested through change request related to any of the above areas

IT Support L1 teams

• Manage ServiceNow backlog

• Incident or request mitigation – L2

• Qualify incident or request prior to escalating to L3 (current infra team)


Technical and Team Leadership

• Provide technical and team leadership

• Team members located in Malaysia and Singapore Requirements

• 2 years minimum of relevant experience

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Higher

• Microsoft or Red Hat Certification, ITIL Certified is a plus

• Understanding of SLAs and the importance of being within SLAs

• Experience using advanced operating system tools to troubleshoot configuration, software, and infrastructure problems.

• Experience with ticketing systems and processes, including Incident and Request Management i.e., ITIL.

• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base.

• Experience with networking/distributed computing technologies and services. For example, troubleshooting and implementing DNS, Active Directory, subnetting, firewalls, DHCP, AD, SSO, and VPN.

• Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, YAML).

• Familiar with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365.

• Other duties may be assigned as the position develops

• Able to work collaboratively in a global team environment

• Display energetic, self-motivated, and quick-thinking abilities with a positive attitude
