Here, you will make an impact by:Server Installation and maintenanceOwning primary responsibility for installation / configuration, upgrades and patches of all hardware, operating system, and operational utilities on Windows systemsAdhering to documented, approved standardsPlanning and coordinates infrastructure requests to accommodate server requests.Monitors, schedule, and implement server storage expansions, as required for client needsCoordinating and planning with other support groups and vendors to provide emergency and scheduled maintenance in an effective timeframeMeasuring baseline of server performance and security analysisProviding research, communicates, and implements “Best Practices” for server tuningCoordinating requested changes, and minimizing the business impact of those changesUnderstanding and compliance to operational processes and policiesAbility to work with global resources to implement servers, and resolve issuesCover a rotating on call schedule within the groupPowerShell scripting to automate day to day tasksWorks under limited supervision.To set you up for success in this role from day one, Company requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Minimum six (6) years Microsoft Windows Server Administration experience.Experience in Active Directory Services, Windows Server features like IIS, Clustering etc.Understanding about IT / OT and Edge computing.Demonstrated proficiency in a customer service roleServiceNow ticketing experienceSCCM experience2 years VMWare vCenter experienceAWS and Azure Cloud experienceAdvanced Microsoft Power Shell experienceDevops tool (Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack, Git-hub) experience would be an added advantage.Preferred Qualifications:3 / 4-year degree in Computer Science, B.Sc., MIS, BCIS, or equivalent.2 years Nutanix Prism experienceSCOM experienceCommvault backup experienceNetApp storage experienceAdvanced Microsoft Power Shell experienceQualys or other scanning tool experienceExperience in using the Power BI tool to import data sources including Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), Excel Files, CSVs, SharePoint lists, and Web data.
