Job Summary:

The Windows System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers and systems. This includes managing Active Directory, group policies, DNS, DHCP, patch management, system monitoring, backups, and ensuring overall system availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server OS (2012/2016/2019/2022).
  • New OS installation and Base level security configuration as CIS standard.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file servers.
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Patch and update Windows servers regularly to address security vulnerabilities.
  • Manage Windows-based services including IIS, WSUS, RDP, and Print Servers.
  • Perform routine server backups and disaster recovery testing.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Monitor system logs and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams on virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking, and storage.
  • Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Document system changes and maintain configuration management records.

  • Policy and SOP management

  • 510 years of hands-on experience in Windows System Administration.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, SFTP
