We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our development team and contribute to the delivery of world-class web and mobile applications. In this role, you will help shape and execute the engineering strategy and roadmap that supports BT’s commercial goals, driving technical excellence, innovation, and high-impact delivery across cross-functional teams Actively participate in solution design, coding, code reviews, and technical discussions to deliver robust and scalable applications. • Web Application Development: Build, enhance, and maintain responsive and performant web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. • Develop and deploy Android and iOS applications leveraging Flutter and related technologies, following clean architecture principles. • Quality Engineering: Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, and continuous integration to ensure product stability and quality. • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with 3yrs hands-on expertise in both web and mobile application development. • Strong technical proficiency in React, Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, React Hooks, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3. • Demonstrable experience in Flutter development for mobile platforms with clean Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployments in cloud environments. • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) for unit and integration testing. • Performance optimization • Focus on quality, automation, and metrics • Good understanding of the wider FE/BE framework and tooling landscape including other JavaScript Frameworks • Software configuration management (Github, Gitlab Bitbucket etc) • Able to translate user story requirements into brilliant digital experience • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and project management best practices I demonstrate strong commercial focus, bringing an external perspective to decision-making.
